My journey as a blogger, poet, and writer has been in motion for over sixteen years now. I have faced many obstacles and set backs that has detoured me at times, but I continue to write. My successes are small compared to most within my field, but none could do it from circumstances. Being a black male with less than humble beginnings and a questionable past, I write. I write for more than the sake of writing. It is partly because I've been told I can't. Since that day I have three poetry books written, also I've been published in numerous journals, and a nominee for the African American Achiever Award. All I can say to those in disbelief, wait and see what I accomplish next.
