On Paper

Paper would signify our love. For now words must do. While many look down upon what we have. But years can show that its real.
I want to share my name with you. Beyond words, I want to see your name upon the dotted line.
I want to give you a ring, without friends and family to witness, then we are only actors, going through the motions.
Love doesn't see color or gender. Deeper than what any can understand. Giving of itself, only hoping to be loved in return.
Confusing and yet without reason. Ending fights, but also causing wars.
